Double DIN Dash Kit for Jeep Liberty 2003-2007 – with Wire Harness and Antenna Adapter

Install an aftermarket double DIN radio in your 2003-2007 Jeep Liberty. Choose the harness that matches your sound system. Reuses the factory lighter button, A/C controls and pocket drawer. Not for 2002 models.

Installation

1. In the lower pocket area, remove the one screw located in the center
2. Pry out on the factory bezel and separate it from the dash
3. Disconnect the A/C harness and the cigarette lighter
4. Remove the 4 Phillips screws that hold the radio in place
5. Pull the radio forward and disconnect the wire harness and antenna
6. Unmount the A/C system from the factory bezel by removing the 4 Phillips screws
7. Reattach it to the new double DIN bezel
8. Remove the old factory cigarette lighter and install it on the new bezel
9. Slide out the pocket liner and install it on the new bezel
10. Remove the radio supports by removing the 4 Phillips screws (see photos)
11. Use a rotary tool or other plastic cutting tool to remove the necessary plastic from the inside of the dash (see photos)
12. Loosely attach the new bezel brackets to the new double DIN bezel
13. Dry fit your aftermarket radio into the bezel and remove or add any necessary trim rings or cages
14. Line up the radio with the brackets and loosely screw through the brackets into the radio
15. Slide the radio forward and back until you get a clean finish
16. Make sure the radio is square, then tighten all screws
17. Wire the aftermarket radio to the harness
18. Install the antenna adapter
