This kit is custom made by Custom Install Parts to fit like the factory kit, with a factory style finish around the radio opening. It is made specifically for your vehicle and lines up with factory mounting to install and uninstall easily. No modifications are necessary. To use the harness, unplug your factory radio from the harness in the dash, wire the harness to the aftermarket radio by matching colors (EIA color codes), then plug it into the factory plug. No cut wires: if you sell your vehicle, simply unplug the aftermarket radio and plug the factory radio back in. The antenna adapter converts the factory antenna end to the standard Motorola male end your new radio needs. It may not be needed if you have installed an aftermarket antenna.
