Common Questions
Does it come drilled for the water line? No. These pieces do not come with a hole drilled for water input. This is left to the customer because individual installation needs vary.
Why 316 Stainless Steel
You get what you pay for. Our fire pits are made of 16 gauge (1.2mm) metal and 316 stainless steel, while other sellers use 20 gauge (1.0mm) metal and 304 stainless steel. Between the higher grade 316 stainless and the thicker 16 gauge, our fire pits have much greater resistance to chemical attack and are more durable. 316 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless with superior corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and chlorinated solutions, which makes it the better choice where salt exposure is an issue. It is also easier to clean.
